The EBS Grease Eradication System
Environmental Biotech Inc. is the largest Bioremediation Company in the world and is currently operating in some 30 countries. The technology was first introduced in 1991 to the USA and to New Zealand in 2000.
Breaks down FOG (Fats, Oils and Grease), prevents problems and cleans up existing situations in: drain lines, grease traps, lift stations, septic tanks, leach tanks and lagoons.
The system consists of an all-natural, cost-effective and environmentally protective treatment programme that virtually eradicates the problem of grease, fat and oil build-up in drains, grease traps, balancing tanks and drain fields. This is set to change the face of waste water management in this country.
Environmental Bio-Solutions offers the latest advances in international biotechnology to eradicate fat and grease that cause unpleasant odours and blockages in environments such as restaurants, shopping centres, food courts, hotels, hospitals, supermarkets, food processing plants and offices.
The Grease Eradication System™ (GES) from Environmental Bio-Solutions is made up of a combination of naturally occurring live bacteria called Pseudomonas.
The technology is an alternative to the traditional use of caustic chemicals, enzymes, surfactants, solvents and mechanical routing (snaking) which relocate or compound the problem rather than eliminating it, and which often result in significant deterioration and/or damage being done to the drainage system. Not only does the system extend the life of the plumbing, but it also dramatically reduces the need for grease trap pump outs.
Unlike enzymes, solvents, soaps and chemicals, which only open a small portion of the total line, the bacteria colonize on the build-up and continue to consume it until the line is clear. As they eat, the sugar, starch, grease and oil is converted into harmless air and water.
